The following are extracts from real e mails commenting on the 1st 60 page edition of the book first published in 2000 as well as on the 2nd Edition which is a significantly larger, improved version with far more details and sound practical money saving advice (180 pages).

"Tony, I wanted to touch basis and let you know that it has been 8 days since I have installed the Ultra Violet light and my pond is crystal clear. I have never in the 6 years of having my fish pond seen clear water except for when a complete water change has been done and then that only lasted a few days before turning completely green again. I am so glad that I found your book on the Internet. There should be more people out there like you that are not trying to make a killing off of people. In the past 6 years I have spoken to numerous "pond experts" and they have sold me every chemical on the market to clear up the water. Needless to say I still had green water and I have spent hundreds of dollars buying these products because I did not know any different. The day before I found your book on the Internet I was out of state and passed by a nursery and stopped. They had many ponds on their grounds. I spent an hour talking to the owner about my green water problem and at the end of the conversation he sold me 2 products to put in my pond that guaranteed clear water within 3 days of treatment. Needless to say 3 days later my water was still green.

face="Arial" size="2">We have been pond owners for about a year now and have suffered many disasters. That is until we stumbled upon your book on the net and out of desperation purchased it.

I would like to inform you that we now have a pond where the water is so clean that it sometimes looks like the fish are suspended in mid air .... very happy active fish.

The pond seems to have reached a stable self maintaining state and apart from clearing the dead UV killed algae from the filter requires very little maintenance. Thanks again for all the great advice and help.
